Prelim Music Video Task

For our year 13 prelim task each of our groups were given a song chosen by our teacher, our group was given 'Only the lonely' by Roy Orbison. Our original ideas involved leaving school to film, but we were later told that we had to film on site. We then came up with the idea of the video being set in a detention at school with one character miming the song. We wanted the video to be set in a dream and involve flashbacks throughout. When it came to editing the video it was crucial that we did the cuts properly because the lip-syncing had to be in time with the track playing. Overall our group was pleased with how the final video turned out even though there were a few mistakes with the lip syncing it was a lesson to learn from when we take on the real thing.
